Wish List Wednesday
So excited for my NYE plans and show that we are attending. Here's a mood board inspired by what I'll be wearing. Seriously wish that I really had that coat. It's divine, but well out of my budget.
What are you wearing?

Ambition
My only ambition for this week is prepping for NYE. That means a mani/pedi, fresh hair color, gathering a perfect anti-pasta platter, and cocktails to be had pre- Event.
What's your ambition for the week?

Covet
Zara has so many covet worthy items that I have been overwhelmed which to buy first. After taking inventory of my closet this skirt tops the list for it's versatility. Equally at home worn casually over a denim shirt and rust colored wedge boots, as it is dressed up with nude fishnets, a pair of stacked heels and a secretary blouse.
Fingers crossed that the local Zara carries it.

A Holiday Specialty Style How To ~ The Chignon
The chignon is the big sister to the ballerina bun. It has many interpretations, which can make it a very versatile style and easy to wear. So chic!
Here are a few simple steps to help you create this in-salon look at home.
Step 1: Blow dry with mousse and a large round brush. Add curl with a large barrel curling iron.
Step 2: Create three sections. One for each side and the back will be it's own section. You may also add a bit of back combing (teasing) at this point if you wish for volume.
Step 3: Place back section in a low side ponytail and create a loose bun securing with bobby pins.
Step 4: Drape each side over and around the bun pinning into place. Smooth the top and sides with hairspray or a light pomade of your choice.
Step 5: Make merry and show it off!

Quotations
Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas time. ~Laura Ingalls Wilder

Wish List Wednesday
At a certain age it truly becomes difficult to make a Christmas Wish List, because if I want something I buy it. Or it's too expensive to ask for. However, with so many Secret Santa drawings and family member inquiries I created this visual wish list via Polyvore. Adding what I knew would be well used and a few just for fun frivolities.
What's on your wish list this year?
to accolades and good hair days,
Brittany
